You know my favourite thing about small weddings? The warmth and sweetness that emanates from such intimate occasions. I am addicted to it.
On a sunny (and windy!) day in August I stood in a quiet park in Rockingham and photographed the wedding of two people deeply in love. If their two beautiful children weren’t enough proof, it might have been the moment Jack saw Teece walking down the aisle arm in arm with her Grandmother. What a moment, the emotion was palpable. During a short n sweet ceremony celebrant Victoria Wheeler kept everything running smoothly, even the moment we all thought the ring had been forgotten (luckily it hadn’t!!).
After all the family portraits and excitement there was a chance for Jack and Teece to breathe for a moment, and take a second to realise that they were totally married now!!
This is one of my favourite parts of the day, its a chance for the bride and groom to chill for a second, and I just float around taking photos as the amazing reality sinks in 🙂
The reception at Bar Indigo was packed full of love and celebration too, with it being a joint wedding reception AND the Bride’s 21st Birthday, complete with two gorgeous cakes and a photo booth set up.
What I noticed most about Teece and Jack’s day was the love and attention that had gone into the details to make it a truly family orientated event.
Even through chilly wind, a nearly missing bridal bouquet, a potentially lost ring, crying babies, alltheemotions, and general wedding craziness, Teece and Jack got married, and it was a perfect day.
